The Clean Truck regulation
Formerly referred to as the Heavy Duty Inspection and Maintenance Program, this updated Clean Truck regulation applies to most non-gasoline vehicles (including diesel) that have a gross weight rating over 14,000 pounds and are operating in California.
This includes: Diesel, hybrid, alternative fuels, and all California, and out-of-state (OOS) registered vehicles operating within California.
